Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in a number of communal and quiet lounges provided throughout the Home, which retains its original period fireplaces.

Located within the stunning Berkshire countryside we have frequent visits from the local wildlife and chickens roam freely through our landscaped gardens. We also have a rose garden and apple orchard. These areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

Our refurbished country Home situated on the outskirts of the popular and historic market town of Hungerford, where we provide the highest quality of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from general Nursing support to professional assistance with everyday living.

We offer Nursing care as well as specialist care for those with Dementia.

If you would like to find out more about our Home, we would be delighted to show you around so that you can experience it for yourself.

Our Activities Coordinator meets with new Residents regularly to discuss the activities programme. We have entertainers who visit the home regularly and the entertainment schedule is planned throughout the year. Our garden fete in August is particularly popular with Residents, their families and the local community.

A multi-sensory room is provided which can be very therapeutic for Residents with sensory impairment. Our in-house salon offers a range of treatments including hairdressing, aromatherapy and manicures.

We support the UK National Dementia Strategy which ensures that key life skills are maintained, building purpose and providing nurture for Residents with Dementia. We organise group and individual activities but in our experience it is the one-to-one sessions that our Residents find most calming and rewarding.

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We have themed meals including food and wine from around the world. We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.
