Avery House residential, nursing and dementia care home in Peterborough is everything the modern care home should be. Designed with the needs of residents and their families in mind, this large, spacious residential care home for the elderly, enjoys hotel standard living, with restaurant quality dining and clinical support services that are of a high standard.

Managed by one of the UK’s most respected elder care providers, Avery Healthcare, the home opened late 2009 and is located just off the main road between Peterborough and Yaxley at the entrance to Hampton Vale estate. The home has quickly filled and attracts residents from both the Peterborough area and surround Cambridgeshire districts.

The home is built across four floors and affords terrific views over the surrounding countryside. Our communal rooms are bright and airy, while the availability of quiet rooms, aromatherapy suites and a hair salon ensure there is always an option to relax by oneself.

Avery House provides a range of rooms all of which exceed the governments guideline on space and all 86 rooms are equipped with en-suite walk-in showers, WC''s and flat screen TV''s.

Life at Avery House is yours to live, we go out of our way to ensure that all of our residents needs are met, and we are proud of the community of care that has quickly develeoped at Avery House. This has been achieved with the dedication of our staff and the contributions of both our residents and family members to life at Avery House. Our dementia education programme, Connect, helps families understand the needs of dementia sufferers and is free to all our families.

Avery House also offers shorter term respite care for the elderly, a service that has proven popular with carers within the local community. Why not call in and see for yourself our beautiful home and the atmosphere that sets it apart from other care homes.
