DESCRIPTION

Westview Lodge is a purpose built care home, providing social care for the mentally infirm elderly in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and some are en-suite.

Westview Lodge is situated in the Headland area of Hartlepool, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1. Specifically, the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre is only a mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Westview Lodge has TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From the A19, take the A179 to Hartlepool. Cross three roundabouts and go onto the A1049 at the fourth. Pass under the railway bridge and turn left after the rugby club into the Westview Lodge car park. The home is on the left.
