DESCRIPTION

Kirkley Lodge is a purpose built home, circa 1991. It is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet location in its own well-maintained gardens, Kirkley Lodge is close to the local shopping centre, post office, leisure facilities and restaurants.

At Kirkley Lodge we provide residential care for 47 older people (male and female) varying from residents who have physical disabilities to those who have dementia or similar needs. We also provide care for residents who now find that they need some practical and personal care. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Breakfast and supper are served either in the lounge or can be enjoyed in your room if you prefer.
• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for
• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities
• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room
• Kirkley Lodge has very pleasant gardens to sit out with patio areas, a gazebo and water feature
• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week
