Galgorm is an historic building that has been carefully converted into a care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although some are large enough for sharing companions. All rooms have private washing facilities.

Galgorm is situated on the main Galgorm Road in Ballymena, within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.

Galgorm has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Catering Manager prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From the centre of Ballymena at the Adair Arms Hotel, follow the A42 Galgorm Road. Galgorm Care Home is 400 yards past the train station on the left.
