Carnalea is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. There are private toilet facilities available.

Carnalea is situated in the town of Bangor, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the main dual carriageway from Belfast. Specifically, the Bloomfield and Springhill shopping centres are nearby.

THE CARE

Carnalea has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylust, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From Belfast take the Sydenham Bypass out of Belfast, continue through Holywood to Bangor. Take exit signposted to Groomsport & Donaghadee and turn left at lights. Follow Springhill Road to the roundabout, turn left and Carnalea is on the right.
