Comber is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy although several are large enough for sharing companions. Several have private toilet facilities.

Comber is situated a few miles away from Newtownards, within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.

Comber is also just a short drive away from the picturesque Ards Penninsula.

THE CARE

Comber has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From the Newtownards

Travel along A21 until reaching Comber Square. Turn right at the traffic lights into Castle Street and again turn right, and then take the 1st left.

From Belfast

Travel along A22 past the North Down Public House on the outskirts of Comber. Take 2nd left at the roundabout into Castle Street and then 2nd left and left again.
