Edgewater Lodge is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care for the frail elderly and mentally infirm elderly, in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and many are en-suite.

Edgewater Lodge is situated in Donaghdee. It is overlooking the sea and the "Commons", within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.

THE CARE

Edgewater Lodge is tastefully furnished and has TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

Take the main A48 from Newtownards passing the "Six Road ends" and continue to Donaghadee. Follow the one way system through Donaghadee to Millisle Road, the B172. The home is located on the right hand side in Sunneydale Avenue opposite to the sea and the "Commons".
