Brandon Lodge is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and the majority are en-suite.

The home is situated in the village of Brandon, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1(M). Specifically, the historic city of Durham is only 2 1/2 miles away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Brandon Lodge has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. A separate dining room, with a bar facility, where residents can join the company of others at meal times is also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

Leave the A1(M) at junction 62 Carville and take the A690 for Crook. Follow the A690 Crook Rd through Durham City. Continue on this road through Nevilles Cross lights and turn right at the Lord Boyne pub. Then first left past Langley Moor school. Follow the road past the cricket club and Brandon Lodge is 200 yards on the right.
