Brockwell Court is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care for the frail elderly and the mentally infirm elderly, in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. All are en-suite.

Brockwell Court is situated in Cobden Street in Consett, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1(M) motorway. Specifically, the centre of Consett is only + mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Brockwell Court has TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist, a dentist and an optician.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

Take the A961 from Durham. At the roundabout turn left onto the A692 and after approximately 100 yards, turn right on to Leadgate Road leading to Sherburn Terrace. Pass the Grey Horse public house and turn right into Gladstone Street, then 2nd left into Cobden Street.
