DESCRIPTION

Redwell Hills is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. The majority have private toilet facilties.

From the front of the building there are attractive views across the Derwent Valley.

Redwell Hills is situated in Leadgate, near Consett, within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.

THE CARE

Redwell Hills is tastefully furnished and has TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also take place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From the South

Come off the A1(M) at A691 for Chester Le Street and follow signs for Consett.

From the North

Come off A1(M) past the Metro Centre, at A692, following signs for Consett. Redwell Hills is on the outskirts of Leadgate.
