Rydal Care Home is located in Darlington''s Eastbourne area and is convenient for shops, amenities, public transport and the A1. Darlington Town Centre is within easy reach.

This purpose built care home provides nursing and social care for the frail elderly and the mentally infirm elderly.

Accommodation at Rydal is offered in single occupancy rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities.

Rydal features TV lounges and a quiet sitting room for relaxation. Separate dining rooms, where residents can socialise at meal times, are also available. Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served with daily choices being available. Special diets can be catered for.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist and qualified chiropodist. Complementary therapies can be arranged by the home for residents.

A good range of activities are also offered.

From the South, leave the A1 at junction 57 and continue onto the A66. At the stadium roundabout take the first exit and at the next go straight on. Turn right into Aysgarth Road and continue to the end. Turn right into Rydal Road. The home is on the left.

From the North, leave the A167 at junction 59 and travel towards Darlington to the second roundabout and turn left. At the next roundabout join the B6280 (Parkgate), proceed under the bridge to a mini roundabout and right into Neasham Road. Turn left after the shops into Aysgarth Road, then as above.

From the A19, travel on the A66 towards Darlington to the stadium roundabout and take the 3rd exit. Then as above, from the South.
