DESCRIPTION

Ventress Care Centre provides residential and respite care for elderly people with physical frailty and physical disabilities, as well as those in short or long term convalescence.
Ventress is a purpose built three-storey care centre situated in Darlington with easy access to local amenities. The nearest railway station is Darlington Station. Regular bus services stop near to the care centre.

THE CARE

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in.

Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users.

Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team. We are totally committed to giving our people the training and opportunities they need to help them deliver the standards of care and nursing we demand.

We set ourselves high standards in every aspect of the care we give service users in our nursing homes. We never forget our service users are individuals and we treat them with respect and dignity at all times.

DIRECTIONS

Located in the west end of Darlington, opposite the Arts Centre and close to the hospital, our home is easily reached from the A1. Darlington town centre is a short walk away, and there is a regular bus service that stops close to the home. Parking is available at the home for visitors.
