Hollie Hill is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care for the frail elderly and mentally infirm elderly, in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all have en-suite facilities.

Hollie Hill is situated on the outskirts of Stanley, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1(M). Specifically, we are six miles from the historic City of Durham.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

Hollie Hill has TV lounges (with both smoking and non-smoking areas)and a quiet sitting room . Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From the A1(M), take exit number 63 to Chester-le-Street. Follow signs for Beamish Museum and Stanley (A693). Continue past Pelton and Beamish to the large supermarket roundabout in Stanley and take the 1st left onto the B6532. Continue down the hill for approximately a mile and a half. Hollie Hill is on the right just before St. Stephens Church.
