DESCRIPTION

Geanann Care Centre is a modern purpose built facility designed to meet the needs of individuals with Dementia related illness. The centre also accommodates older adults who experience physical frailty and require Nursing Care.
Geanann Care Centre is situated in the pleasant rural setting of Dungannon in the heart of County Tyrone. The area boasts some excellent attractions such as; Tyrone Crystal Visitors Centre, Dungannon Park and some fantastic shops at The Linen Green. Geanann is located on Ballygawelly Road which is easily accessible from the M1motorway, providing links to Portadown, Armagh and the City of Belfast. The nearest railway station is Portadown Station. Regular bus services stop near to the care centre.

THE CARE

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in.

Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users.

Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team. We are totally committed to giving our people the training and opportunities they need to help them deliver the standards of care and nursing we demand.

We set ourselves high standards in every aspect of the care we give service users in our nursing homes. We never forget our service users are individuals and we treat them with respect and dignity at all times.
