At Kirklands, we provide professional residential care for 40 older people
with increasing mental and physical frailty and varying mental and physical disabilities. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Lake District , Kirklands is set in a quiet location within the market town of Cockermouth, close to a variety of local amenities.

THE CARE

Dining
• The three main meals can be served in the dining areas or in the privacy of your room
• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for
• Unlike other care homes, there is no need to order food in advance

Leisure activities
• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room
• Kirklands has a pleasant garden and patio ideal for sitting out in summer
• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week
