DESCRIPTION

Highfield House is a large detached period property which has been extended to provide accommodation for 37 older people. There is a large car park with a number of steps up to the home and a driveway for wheelchair users. The home is situated very close to the centre of the small town of Ashbourne.

THE CARE

Individualised care is provided to the residents at Highfield House with every resident having their own care plans.

Highfield House is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and several sitting rooms, all overlooking the extensive private grounds. A separate dining room, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are aslo an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.

DIRECTIONS

Highfield House is situated on Clifton Road in Ashbourne. We are set back from the road but the home is clearly marked with blue Four Seasons Health Care signs at the bottom of the drive.

From the M6

Take A50 to Stoke, Uttoxeter and Derby. Then take A515 to Ashbourne, over 1st roundabout, past Nestle factory on left, Highfield House is on the right.

From the M1

From M1 South take A50 to Uttoxeter and Stoke. Take A515 into Ashbourne and follow directions as above. From M1 North take A38 towards Derby then A52 to Ashbourne as far as roundabout with A515 where you turn right.
