The Branksome is large a mock Tudor style house built towards the end of the 19th century. It has been carefully converted with a purpose built extension. It is now a care home providing nursing and social care in a selection of different sized rooms.
All our rooms are designated as single occupancy but some are large enough to offer sharing companions accommodation. Some are en-suite.
The Branksome is situated in it’s own magnificent gardens, in the Peak District spa town of Buxton. It is within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport. Specifically the town centre, its spa, gardens and Opera House are only half a mile away.

At the Branksome, care is based around each person’s individual needs. Some residents only have modest care requirements and may simply enjoy living within a secure and caring environment; others need 24 hour nursing assistance. However whatever the need, care is delivered with patience, kindness and understanding.
We very much recognise the importance of personal, individual and resident focused care. To achieve this communication between all members of the care team, be they nurses, cares, relatives or doctors, is essential.
