DESCRIPTION

We are a 28 bedded home over two floors, with a spacious lounge and separate dining room, and a separate hairdressing salon. All rooms except 2, are en suite with walk in showers. We also have an electric hoist bath. With a planned conservatory, there is a small patio area within the garden, with seating for residents and relatives. There is a car park for approx 15 cars. We have recently had a refurbishment in November 2007 with new carpets, curtains and bedroom furniture. There are bell points in all bathrooms and bedrooms.

THE CARE

We provide 24 hour person centred nursing care. With an extremely experienced and established staff team, we have 2 trained nurses during day duties and 1 trained nurse on nights. We are a home experienced in palliative care. We have a full time activities co-ordinator, and use of a mini bus. We have a dedicated en suite respite room, which may be booked in advance.

From Poole and Bournemouth, take the A31 to Canford Bottom Roundabout. Take the 4th exit, Wimborne Road West, and the home is on the left.
From Ringwood and Ferndown, take the A31 to the Canford Bottom Roundabout. Take the 1st exit, and the home is on the left.
