Flowerdown provides nursing and social care for the elderly, in a home that has been carefully converted and extended.

Our rooms are mainly for single occupancy, although we can offer facilities for sharing companions. The majority are en-suite.

Flowerdown is situated on the outskirts of the historic city of Winchester, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M3 motorway. Specifically, the city centre is 4 miles away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Flowerdown has lounges and a separate dining room where residents can join the company of others for companionship and stimulation. These are important features of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From the M3
Leave the motorway at junction 11 and take the A3090 towards Winchester. Continue for just over 1.5 miles to the Pitt roundabout and take the second exit signposted City Centre onto the B3040. Travel for just under a mile and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit into Chilbolton Avenue (B3041), travel again for just under a mile and then turn left onto the B3049 at the next roundabout (Stockbridge Road). After another mile turn right into Harestock Road and Flowerdown is on your right after approximately 500 yards.
