Highfield is an historic building that has been carefully converted into a care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy, although some are large enough for sharing companions. A number of rooms are en-suite.

Highfield is situated just to the south of Ware, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M25 motorway. Specifically, the shopping centre is only + mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

Highfield has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). A separate dining room, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, is also an important feature of the home.

One and a half acres of gardens and a spacious courtyard, accessible from the conservatory, are also available for the benefit of residents.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.
