Greensted is located in Wateringbury, a rural town with fantastic views across the river Medway. The home has good transport links with a bus stop close to the home and the nearest motorway is the M20.

The home provides care and companionship for older people with frailty and specialist care for people with Parkinson's. Greensted has a spacious dining room where meals are served, a therapy room with a massage chair and a comfortable visitors' room with tea, coffee and cake.

The grounds are large and include a paved courtyard and garden giving residents the opportunity to get involved in gardening. Pets are particularly important to well being and the home has rabbits which the residents enjoy looking after and stroking.

The home regularly organises activities including bingo, crafts and quizzes. Every Christmas, residents go to a Pantomime and enjoy going on a boat trip down the river Medway. The home also organises a mystery tour every year as a surprise for residents. Greensted also has a wish tree and residents can request activities they'd like to participate in, one resident spent a day welding, nothing is impossible!
