DESCRIPTION

Cathkin House Care Centre is a brand new purpose built two-storey care centre, providing nursing care for elderly people with physical frailty requiring long-term convalescence.
Cathkin House enjoys superb views over the neighbouring countryside. The centre is situated just 5 minutes from East Kilbride and is easily accessible from the M74 and M8 motorways. The nearest railway station is East Kilbride. Regular buses run to and from Kingsgate Retail Park which is located just a two minute walk from the care centre.

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in.

Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users.

Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team. DIRECTIONS

East Kilbride train station is a short distance away, and there are regular busses which stop outside the home. We are close to the M74 and there is parking for visitors.
