Allander Court is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms. All of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. All are en-suite. Allander Court is situated in the Possilpark suburb of Glasgow, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M8 motorway. Specifically, the City Centre is only 2.5 miles away.

Allander Court has TV Lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. Meals are served to suit the convenience of residents and can be served in the privacy of bedrooms or at the table in our dining rooms.

The entertainment of guests and arrangement of small private parties attracts a small extra charge.The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.All the laundry for our residents is undertaken by the home. A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents. Visitors are welcome at any time and in addition all our facilities are extended to close friends and family.

From the M8 westbound, leave at junction 16 onto the A879 Craighall Road to Saracen Street. Follow Saracen Street until you come to Allander Street on the right (library on left). Turn into Allander Street and take the second left into Denmark treet and the home is on the right.

From M8 eastbound take junction 18, follow the signs for St. Georges Cross - follow St. Georges Road, then Possil Road until the junction with Saracen Street. Turn left into Saracen Street and from Allander Street. Then as above.

From Milngavie follow the A879 Balmore Road onto Saracen Street until the first left after Saracen Cross, where you turn left into Allander Street. Then as above.
