At Wellmeadow Lodge we provide quality nursing care for older people as well as specialist care for older people with dementia.
The home is on a main bus route and is conveniently situated just two miles away from the centre of Newton Mearns.

Wellmeadow Lodge can accommodate up to 92 residents. The accommodation is provided over two buildings. There are six spacious lounges in total and two dining rooms in each building. We offer single and double rooms, all with en-suite facilities. Wellmeadow Lodge also has extensive grounds with a patio area and summer house for the residents to enjoy.

The comfort of our residents is very important to us, so each room is decorated to a high standard. You''re welcome to bring personal belongings such as ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture.

We never forget this is your home, and meal times are no different. You can choose to eat your meals in the dining room or your own room, and we can provide meals for your visitors as well.

Our appetising, home-cooked meals are nutritionally balanced and we can cater for any special dietary needs - such as low fat or vegetarian.

At Wellmeadow Lodge we have a dedicated Activities Organiser to arrange a programme within the home that includes arts and crafts, games and entertainment. There are also regular organised trips and events outside the home, including visits to Largs, the theatre and local garden centres.

You will find a wide range of support services in the home, including a hairdresser, visiting chiropodist and dentist. Of course, we also provide full catering and laundry facilities.

Everyone needs to feel secure, so each room has a 24-hour call system - help is at hand whenever you need it. A lockable facility is also available for your valuables.

Patterton train station is a short distance away and there is a bus service available to and from Glasgow city centre. If you are coming by car, our home is easily reached via the M8 and there is parking for visitors.
