DESCRIPTION

Whitecraigs is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all are en-suite.

Whitecraigs is situated in the Thornliebank area of Glasgow, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M77 motorway. Specifically, the Mearns shopping centre is approximately 2 miles away.

THE CARE

Whitecraigs is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and a quiet sitting room and smoking room, overlooking flowerbeds and the private gardens. The home also has a fully equipped sensory room for residents use.

Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Cook prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.

DIRECTIONS

Take the A726 Nitshill Road to the roundabout at Thornliebank main street and take the 3rd exit onto B769, Stewarton Road. The home is on the right hand side.
