Located in the heart of the community in Islington, Carnegie Street day care centre is close to all local shops and amenities. If you would like to visit us, getting to the centre by public transport is easy: there are several bus routes nearby and we are just a few minutes’ walk from Angel Islington and King’s Cross Tube stations.

THE CARE

Care and companionship

Day care provides comfort, care and companionship
for those who require a certain level of assistance
but who are still able to live in their own home. Its
aim is to maintain the independence, dignity and
respect of older people within a relaxed, friendly and
lively environment. By providing a fun, supportive
and stimulating atmosphere, we enable them to stay
living at home for longer.

Who we care for

Carnegie Street is registered to provide day care for
up to 20 clients with dementia who are physically
frail, as well as those with challenging behaviour.
Day care is often an initial step towards full-time care
and is therefore a vital first call.
