DESCRIPTION

This registered nursing home in West Drayton, Middlesex, provides nursing care for frail older people, and includes a specialist intermediate care unit providing rehabilitation to prevent unneccesary admission to hospital or long term care.

Our aim is to ensure that our home creates an environment which really does feel like home and where friends and family are always welcome.

The home is light, airy and tastefully decorated throughout. It has been carefully designed to offer our residents both comfort and security in a relaxed homely atmosphere and to also provide privacy when needed. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal items to create more familiar surroundings and make themselves more comfortable.

A full personal laundry service is provided and our team of domestic staff ensure that all rooms are fully serviced to a high standard. A hairdresser visits the home once a week and for those wishing to keep up with the news we will arrange for newspapers and magazines to be delivered.

All of the home’s 66 bedrooms (21 intermediate care beds) are single en-suite rooms with washbasin and toilet. There is lift and wheelchair access throughout, plus specialist equipment such as assisted baths and hoists.

Each of the three floors boasts a large, well-appointed dining room and relaxing sitting areas overlooking beautifully landscaped and safe gardens. Service users may also bring their own personal items to add to the homely surroundings within this nursing home.

Within 1 mile of West Drayton town centre and railway station, the nursing home is also well within reach of shops and local amenities.

Friendly, caring staff, 24 hours a day

Our staff are selected not only for their experience and qualifications but also for their caring approach. Each resident has their own Key Worker responsible for ensuring that each individual’s personal needs are met.

Our staff will work closely with residents and their relatives to formulate a personal care plan which will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Residents in our home are encouraged to lead a fulfilling life and to maintain their independence though day to day choices.

We appreciate the importance of quality of life. Our home has a full programme of activities which cover a wide range of interests and we maintain close links with the local community. Churches, schools and local groups are regularly invited to participate in the life of the home.
