Castlegreen is a purpose built home, providing nursing care for frail, older people and people with dementia.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy with en-suite facilities.

The home is located in the Craigmillar area, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the main Edinburgh road network.

THE CARE

Castlegreen is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and several quiet sitting rooms, all overlooking the extensive private grounds.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complimentary therapies can be arranged to suite individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the homes and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.

DIRECTIONS

South on A720 Edinburgh City Bypass. Take Lasswade junction and turn left. Then, turn right at Gilmerton Station Road and eventually turn left into Drum Street. Turn right into Ferniehill Drive and left into Old Dalkeith Road. Pass the New Royal Infirmary and turn right into Craigmillar Castle Road. At the traffic lights turn right onto Niddrie Mains Road, take the fifth road on the right into Greendykes Road and the home is 150 metres on the left hand side.
