Guthrie House is a brand new purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms. All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all are ensuite.

Guthrie House is situated in the Liberton area of Edinburgh, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A720 city bypass. Specifically, the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre is only half a mile away.

THE CARE

Guthrie House is tastefully decorated to the highest standard. The home features TV lounges, quiet sitting rooms and secure enclosed gardens.

Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled actvities therapist.

DIRECTIONS

From the A720 Ring Road turn onto the A701 signposted for Edinburgh. Follow this road until the first set of traffic lights and turn right onto the B701. Carry on through pedestrian lights to the next set of traffic lights and turn left onto Lasswade Road. Continue past the Hospital on your right and Guthrie House is on your right.
