Welcome to Sedbury Park; comprising our main house, a modernised 17th century, Grade 2 listed building and two purpose built Homes where we offer high standards of care 24 hours a day. We accommodate Residents with varying needs, from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living.

We offer Residential and Nursing care as well as specialist care for those with Dementia. We also provide Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

Our Residents enjoy the tranquillity of our library or socialise in our Grand Hall, with magnificent staircase, marble pillars and chandelier. We even have a film themed TV Lounge where Residents can enjoy an afternoon of movies. Our Home is surrounded by 12 acres of private land for Residents to enjoy, including patio areas, enclosed gardens, a fountain, two fish ponds and beautiful panoramic views of the two Severn Bridges and Estuaries. We also have a sensory garden for our Residents with Dementia and spacious conservatory making an ideal place to enjoy time with friends and family.

Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include live performances in our ballroom to arts and crafts, baking and gentle gardening. Regular trips out to local attractions such as the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are always popular with our Residents. We also work closely with local schools, churches and other organisations to encourage regular visits from the community.

We support the UK National Dementia Strategy which ensures that key life skills are maintained, building purpose and providing nurture for Residents with Dementia. We organise group and individual activities but in our experience it is the one-to-one sessions that our Residents find most calming and rewarding.

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.
