DESCRIPTION

The Terrace provides residential and respite care for elderly people with physical frailty or in need of short or long-term convalescence.
The Terrace is a fusion of 19th Century architecture with modern day comfort. The statuesque building has a commanding presence. Beyond the immaculate grounds the countryside is stunning and the ancient castle of Richmond can be seen. As well as its countryside setting The Terrace is conveniently situated on the edge of town. The nearest railway station is Darlington Station. Regular bus services stop near to the care centre.

THE CARE

Our focus is on creating a welcoming ambience in safe and relaxing surroundings that make our service users feel at home.Our emphasis is on providing private care homes with something a little extra – attention to detail is key. From fresh flowers to a daily newspaper, the service we provide is more like a hotel than a traditional care home.

This approach to care reflects our background. The Ashbourne concept was developed in the 1980s by a leading hotel chain. Our private care homes have always been of a superior quality. They are found in prime locations and offer excellent standards of both accommodation and service.

DIRECTIONS

The Terrace Care Home is situated just outside Richmond town centre on the Maison Dieu road to Brompton-on-Swale and the A1 at Catterick Bridge. There is a regular bus service to Darlington and Northallerton which stops close to the home. Car parking is available for visitors.
