DESCRIPTION

Oaklands is located in the peaceful North Yorkshire village of Kirk Hammerton, between Knaresborough and York.
The home provides accommodation for up to 44 elderly people in single ensuite rooms.
Residents benefit from a large number of communal living areas, including a spacious morning room, a quiet lounge, two dining rooms and a conservatory which overlook the landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside. The home also benefits from an on-site hairdressing salon.
The local shops, doctors' surgery and pharmacy are within a short walking distance of the home. Additionally, Oaklands is situated close to the local train station, which provides rail links to York and Leeds.
Oaklands provides residential/personal, nursing* and respite services.
