Within Granby Court Extended Nursing Care, our qualified staff and highly qualified carers provide continuous nursing attention. The unit has been purpose designed to cater for all your nursing requirements and includes physiotherapy facilities, the finest nursing equipment and aids for specialist treatment, assisted bathrooms and nurse call systems in all areas.

All 35 rooms have en-suite facilities, some with en-suite showers and are adapted to aid residents and help them maintain their independence. Televisions and telephones are standard in all rooms and residents are encouraged to bring some of their favourite pieces of furniture and personal belongings.

Nursing staff are always available and are trained to give not only the highest standards in care but to encourage residents to maintain their independence and dignity in an environment of empathy and respect, where the rights, privacy and security of all our residents is paramount to the service we provide.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''excellent'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

The Extended Care Unit echoes the luxury and elegance of Granby Court and Granby Gardens and has its own dining room, where residents and their guests may enjoy Granbys fine choice of cuisine tailored, if necessary, to any specific dietary needs. The lounges have views over the Stray and residents may take the fresh air on the patio or stroll in the gardens.

A varied programme of outings and entertainment is organised with individual hobbies and interests taken into account, enabling residents to live as full and varied a life as they choose.
