Berwick is a purpose built care home providing nursing and social care for older people.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. Many are en-suite.

Berwick Care Home is situated to the north of Berwick, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1. Specifically, it is half a mile from the coast and many rooms have sea views.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

Berwick has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, which are an important feature of the home.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist,a qualified Chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.

Travelling north on the A1 to Berwick, follow the town bypass and the signs for Edinburgh until the third roundabout, located north of the town. At the roundabout turn south, back onto the A1 towards the town. The home is half a mile down the road, past the Elizabethan public house, on the left hand side.
