Dolphin View is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions.

Dolphin View is situated in the small fishing port of Amble. Nestling by the harbour side, the home is afforded excellent views both up the River Coquet towards Warkworth Castle, and across the harbour mouth to the North Sea. The home is approx 1/4 mile from the town centre and all its amenities.

THE CARE

Dolphin View has TV lounges (smoking and non smoking). Our spacious dining room where residents can join the company of others at meal times is also an important feature of the home.

Our Cook prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist,a qualified chiropodist, a physiotherapist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place within the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

Turn right off the A1068 road from Morpeth to Alnwick at roundabout on southern edge of Amble. Follow Percy Drive along until next roundabout. Turn right along Percy Street, until the supermarket, then take the next left, then left again into Harbour Road and Dolphin View is on the left.
