Churchfield is a purpose-built residential and nursing home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Our modern building is designed specifically for the needs of our residents, and we have a very caring team who work hard to make everyone feel at home.

Our home, once part of the old vicarage, is set in a beautiful woodland area in the mining village of Rainworth. We have regular outings to local places of interest as well as the library and park. Our pleasant garden, with comfortable seating area, gives our residents the chance to sit back and relax.

All our well-equipped bedrooms are en suite, clean and comfortable. There is a comfortable television lounge overlooking the garden, plus other areas for quiet relaxation. Our attractive lawned and patio areas are a popular place to sit, and the keen gardeners amongst our residents help keep it looking good.

THE CARE

Residents get very involved in planning activities with our Activities Co-ordinator. Popular pastimes include: Arts and crafts, Quizzes, Gardening, Professional entertainers, Birthday celebrations, Mini bus outings, Church services, Coffee mornings, One-to-one sessions (calming and rewarding), Seasonal events.

Meals are home-cooked by our own chef, and there is always a choice. We’re more than happy to cater for dietary and cultural needs. You can always find a speciality dish on the menu.
