The Headington Care Home

Roosevelt Drive
Headington
Oxford
Oxfordshire
OX3 7XR

The Headington is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care for the mentally infirm elderly, inlcuding those suffering from dementia and Alzheimers, in a selection of differing rooms.

The home has single rooms, all of which offer ensuite facilities. Wide circular corridors make it easy to move around the bungalow style building, which is built around a central courtyard.

The home is situated in the Headington area of Oxford, within access to public transport and the M40.

The Headington has TV lounges,a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas) and conservatories overlooking the gardens. Seperate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked foods based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Once on the Oxford Ring Road, follow the signs for Headington/Hospitals. At the Green Road roundabout, leave the Ring Road, turning on to London Road, following the signs for Headington/City Centre. Proceed through Headington on the London Road then turn left into Gypsy Lane (Oxford Brookes University) and at the next lights proceed straight across into Roosevelt Drive. At the mini roundabout, turn right for the home.
