Mill House is a small and cosy care home offering nursing care in a period residence in the quaint market town of Witney, Oxfordshire, home of Witney Blankets. Built in the 1730s the building was originally called Staple Hall and was a Coaching Inn. Now fully renovated, our home has the facilities to meet the nursing needs of our elderly residents. We have a dedicated team who work hard to make everyone feel at home and are fully trained to care for our residents.

All of our bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and are well maintained. There are several communal bathrooms within the home with either assisted baths or wet rooms. Our cosy home has several lounge areas. The main lounge contains a large fireplace in keeping with a period residence, and our conservatory opens out onto the garden.

Our Activities Co-ordinator organise both group and one-to-one activities which are tailored to the needs and abilities of our residents. A programme of activities is displayed around the home.

Dining is social event at Mill House. Meals are served restaurant-style and tables are dressed with tablecloths and flowers. We can cater for all cultural and dietary needs, and we celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
