DESCRIPTION

Oakfield is a converted Victorian town house with a two storey extension, providing nursing care.

Most of our rooms are for single occupancy, although a couple are large enough for sharing companions. All offer private toilet facilities.

Oakfield is situated in the Weston Park suburb of Bath, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M4 motorway. Specifically, the Bath shopping centre is only 1 mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Oakfield has a quiet sitting room and a separate dining room, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, which are an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

TV points are in residents own bedrooms.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From Bath

Take the upper Bristol Road to Park Lane. At the mini roundabout turn left into Weston Road, follow the road and turn left into Weston Park.

From M4

Take A46 (southwards) from M4. At A420 roundabout turn right and after about 800 yards turn left and follow the road past the racecourse then turn right into Lansdown Lane.
