Cherry Trees is a purpose built care home providing nursing and social care for older people who are physically frail and older people who have mental health needs.

Most of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. Many are en-suite.

Cherry Trees is situated on an elevated position, overlooking the Dearne Valley Park, close to Barnsley. It is within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M1.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Cherry Trees has several lounges and separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, which are an important feature of the home.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified Chiropodist.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.
