Broadacres is a purpose built home, providing social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. Many are en-suite.

Broadacres is situated in the Parkgate suburb of Rotherham, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M1 motorway. Specifically, the Parkgate shopping centre is only 1/2 mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''excellent'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Broadacres is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges, a quiet sitting room and a conservatory overlooking the mature garden. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.

Travelling from Rotherham

Take A633 from Rotherham town centre, follow signs for Parkgate. At roundabout take 2nd exit into Broad Street, 1st right into Lloyd Street, 1st left and left again into Aldwarke Road, 1st right into Maurice Street.

Travelling from Doncaster, Swinton, Mexborough and Conisbrough.

Take A633 to Rotherham through Rawmarsh, down Rawmarsh Hill towards Parkgate/Rotherham past two Churches on the right, 1st right at roundabout into Great Eastern Way, 1st Left at next roundabout into Aldwarke Road, 2nd right into Maurice Street.
