Balmoral is a purpose built home providing nursing care and also, in a separate unit, social care for those with dementia.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions.

Balmoral is situated in the village of Woodhouse, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M1 motorway.

THE CARE

Balmoral is tastfully decorated and features TV lounges, a quiet sitting room and a conservatory that overlooks the mature private grounds. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Cook prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.
