Four Seasons Health Care is the leading independent healthcare provider in the UK. Charlotte James is a Victorian building, carefully converted, modernised and extended to become a care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms. Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. Some rooms are en-suite.

Charlotte James Care Home is situated in rural grounds, outside of Burton Upon Trent, within easy reach of amentities, public transport and the A38. Specifically, the town centre is a mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''excellent'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Charlotte James has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement. All the laundry for our residents is undertaken by the home.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Visitors are welcome at any time and in addition all our facilities are extended to close friends and family.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. Meals are served to suit the convenience of residents and can be served in the privacy of bedrooms or at the table in our dining rooms. The entertainment of guests and arrangement of small private parties attracts a small extra charge.

DIRECTIONS

From the A444, go over the new bridge and then turn left at the second roundabout. Go through the traffic lights and over the next three roundabouts to Shobnall Road. Then go under the A38 and the home is immediately on the right. From the A38 (North) take the 2nd exit to Burton upon Trent, then as above. From the A38 (South) take the 1st exit to Burton upon Trent, go through a new industrial estate to Shobnall Road Roundabout and turn left into Shobnall Road, go under the A38 and the home is immediately on the right.
