Our aim is to ensure that our home creates an environment which really does feel like home and where friends and family are always welcome.

The home is light, airy and tastefully decorated throughout. It has been carefully designed to offer our residents both comfort and security in a relaxed homely atmosphere and to also provide privacy when needed. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal items to create more familiar surroundings and make themselves more comfortable.

A full personal laundry service is provided and our team of domestic staff ensure that all rooms are fully serviced to a high standard. A hairdresser visits the home once a week and for those wishing to keep up with the news we will arrange for newspapers and magazines to be delivered.

The care home is situated within its own secure gardens in the heart of Farncombe, between the towns of Godalming and Guildford. It is conveniently located close to local shops and amenities, and the attractive Loseley Park is only a short walk away. The historic town of Godalming is within a short distance by car or public transport and offers a wider range of shops and facilities.

The care home is built on one level and is therefore fully wheelchair accessible. Bedrooms are arranged in five suites, all of which have their own lounge, diner, kitchenette and access to a pleasant courtyard and gardens. A new wing has recently been completed within the grounds, making available an additional 17 places for people suffering with dementia. These new rooms have been built to the highest of standards and are fully furnished with ensuite facilities.

Friendly, caring staff, 24 hours a day

Our staff are selected not only for their experience and qualifications but also for their caring approach. Each resident has their own Key Worker responsible for ensuring that each individual’s personal needs are met.

Our staff will work closely with residents and their relatives to formulate a personal care plan which will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Independence and freedom of choice

Residents in our home are encouraged to lead a fulfilling life and to maintain their independence though day to day choices.

We appreciate the importance of quality of life. Our home has a full programme of activities which cover a wide range of interests and we maintain close links with the local community. Churches, schools and local groups are regularly invited to participate in the life of the home.

Please note that we are looking to convert 10 placements for specific nursing care so we can provide a full scope of care needs in relation to day care, respite, permanent residential and permanent nursing care.
