DESCRIPTION

Barnfield is a purpose-built home, circa 1970. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Barnfield is close to local amenities and excellent bus and train routes to Crawley, Brighton and London. Most rooms have views of the gardens.

At Barnfield, we provide residential care for 63 older people (male and female) with increasing physical and mental frailties and varying mental health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for
• Supper is served in the dining rooms or can be enjoyed in your own room
• Unlike other care homes there is no need to order food in advance

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room
• Barnfield has a pleasant garden with patio and sitting area, ideal for summer
• Stimulating and wide-ranging activities are organised at our home each week
