Elswick Hall is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are single occupancy and all are en-suite.

The home is situated in the Elswick suburb of Newcastle, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1(M) motorway. Specifically, the Eldon Square Shopping Centre is only + mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Elswick Hall has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From the South A1(M), take the A189 exit signposted Newcastle/Gateshead and remain in the right hand lane. Continue over Redheugh Bridge to the fourth set of traffic lights and turn left onto the A186, signposted Newcastle General Hospital. At the next lights turn left and continue straight over the mini roundabout and take the second left. At the bottom of this street you will find Elswick Hall.

From the North A1(M), take the A186 exit signposted Newcastle(West). Follow this road until you reach Newcastle General Hospital (on your left). Immediately after the hospital turn right (just before the lights) and continue down Bentwick Road until the road ends in a T-junction. Turn left and follow the road passing a Mosque on your left and take the second right after the Mosque where you will find Elswick Hall.
