DESCRIPTION

Lawrence Court is a purpose built care home, providing social care for the mentally infirm elderly in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all have en-suite facilities.

Lawrence Court is situated in the Byker area of Newcastle, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A1(M). Specifically, the Shields Road Shopping Centre is only + mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Lawrence Court has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From A186, follow signs to Walker/Byker. At the main roundabout take the exit into Allendale Road (B1314). Lawrence Court is situated just past the traffic lights on your right.

From A193, follow signs to Walker/Byker. At the main roundabout take the exit into Union Road (B1314). Go straight ahead at the next roundabout into Allendale Road. You will find Lawrence Court on your left.
