DESCRIPTION

Stanton Lodge is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. All rooms are en-suite.

Stanton Lodge is situated in Shiremoor in North Tyneside, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A19. Specifically, the North Shields shopping centre is nearby.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Stanton Lodge has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From the A19, take the A186 signposted Earsdon & Whitley Bay. Follow the A186 Earsdon Road over a mini roundabout, over a bridge and up to a set of traffic lights where you will see The Grey Horse pub on your right. Take a right hand turn at the traffic lights onto Park Lane, go over the bridge and take the first left into Millfield Avenue. Follow the road around and Stanton Lodge is in front of you.
