Swan Lodge is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy, although a couple are suitable for sharing companions. All rooms are en-suite.

Swan Lodge is situated in the Howdon suburb of Wallsend, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M1 motorway. Specifically, the Wallsend Shopping Centre is only + mile away.

Swan Lodge has TV lounges, a quiet sitting room and lounges for those residents who wish to smoke. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Swan Lodge is very near to local bus links and the Metro Service
From Newcastle (Coast Road A1058). Leave Coast Road at North Tyneside College. Turn right onto Churchill Street and continue the full length to the traffic lights. Turn left, then first right into Kent Avenue. Swan Lodge is on the right.

From the South (A19). After travelling through the tunnel, turn left onto A108. Leave at first slip road bearing left onto A699. Continue for approximately half a mile, turn left into Kent Avenue after the GP surgery and the home is on the right.
